Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 6, 2026
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how TypoWise AI ("TypoWise," "we," "us") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you visit our websites or use our products and services (collectively, the "Service"). It applies to typowise.site and related properties operated by us, and it describes how we handle personal information, including data received through Google sign-in.
2. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Website technical data. Our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically logs standard technical data — IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and timestamps — for security and operational purposes. Our pages self-host their fonts and assets, so visiting our website does not connect your browser to third-party content providers. We do not use analytics services, advertising trackers, or behavioral profiling on our website.
- Account information. Where the Service offers accounts, we collect the information needed to create and secure your account — such as your email address, display name, and authentication credentials — managed through our authentication provider (Supabase).
- Google sign-in data. Where the Service offers "Sign in with Google," we receive your Google account basic profile — your name, email address, and profile picture — as described in Section 4 below.
- Service inputs. When you use our AI products, we process the content you submit (prompts, files, or other inputs) and the outputs generated for you, along with technical metadata needed to operate the Service (timestamps, model used, token counts).
- Payment information. If and when paid plans are offered, purchases will be processed by a third-party payment processor (such as Stripe). We would receive billing details such as your name, email, and transaction status; we never see or store your full card number.
- Communications. If you contact us (for example at support@typowise.site), we retain your message and contact details to respond.
3. How we use information
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service, including generating Outputs
- Create, secure, and authenticate accounts; prevent abuse, fraud, and security incidents
- Process payments and manage billing
- Respond to requests and communicate service updates
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your inputs to train models without your consent or a separate agreement, and we do not use any personal information — including Google user data — for advertising.
4. Google sign-in and Google user data
What we access. Where the Service offers "Sign in with
Google," we access your Google account basic profile: your name, email
address, and profile picture, as provided through Google's basic profile
scopes (openid, email, profile). If we
ever request additional Google API scopes, the consent screen will describe
them, and this Policy will be updated before we access that data.
How we use it. Google user data is used only to provide user-facing features of the Service: to create and authenticate your account, identify your session, and display your name and avatar within the product. We do not use Google user data for advertising, for profiling, or to train AI models.
How we store it. Your Google sign-in profile is stored in our authentication database (Supabase) and retained while your account exists. You may request deletion of your account and associated Google user data at any time via support@typowise.site.
How we share it. Google user data is not shared with third parties except the infrastructure providers required to operate the Service (such as Supabase for authentication), and is never sold or used for advertising purposes. No human reads your Google user data except as needed for security, legal compliance, or with your explicit consent.
Limited Use. TypoWise's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
5. AI processing and third-party model providers
AI features are powered in part through OpenRouter, which routes requests to third-party model providers. This means the content you submit may be processed by those providers to produce Outputs, subject to their own data handling policies. Do not submit sensitive personal information, credentials, or data you are not authorized to share.
6. How we share information
We share information only with the service providers that operate the Service on our behalf:
- Vercel — hosting and content delivery
- Supabase — authentication and database infrastructure
- Stripe — payment processing, if and when paid plans are offered
- OpenRouter and underlying model providers — AI inference
- Google — sign-in authentication where offered
We may also disclose information to comply with law, enforce our rights, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — subject to this Policy's protections.
7. Cookies and tracking
Our website does not use analytics or advertising cookies, and no cookie-consent banner is needed because no optional tracking exists. Where the Service offers accounts, strictly necessary data is stored in your browser's local storage: your authentication session token (managed by Supabase) and interface preferences (theme, sidebar state, organization name). These are required for the product to function and are never used for advertising.
8. Data retention and deletion
We keep information only as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Account and service data is deleted or anonymized when no longer required, subject to legal retention duties. To request deletion of your account and personal data — including Google user data — email support@typowise.site; we will process verifiable requests within a reasonable period.
9. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards — encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege credentials — to protect information. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your data, we will notify you and regulators as required by law.
10. Your rights
TypoWise AI is the data controller (responsable) for personal data processed under this Policy.
Mexico (LFPDPPP). If you are in Mexico, you have the rights of access, rectification, cancellation, and opposition (ARCO) over your personal data under the Ley Federal de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de los Particulares. To exercise ARCO rights, email support@typowise.site with your request; we will respond within the terms established by law. You may also revoke consent and, where applicable, lodge a complaint with the relevant Mexican data protection authority.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these — or to revoke our access to your Google account data (which you can also do at myaccount.google.com/permissions) — email support@typowise.site. We will respond within a reasonable period and as required by applicable law. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
11. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
12. International transfers
Our service providers operate in multiple countries, so your information may be processed outside your home jurisdiction. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, additional notice. If we begin accessing a new type of Google user data, this Policy will be updated — and your consent re-requested where required — before that access takes place.
